What payment options are available?

You can use any of the following:
Mastercard, Masterpass, VISA, Zapper, Snapscan or do an Instant EFT.

Is the payment secure?

We integrate directly with approved payment providers being Payfast, Zapper and Snapscan who handle the transaction and ensure your details are kept safe. We do not store any of your payment information. Read more from our “Meat delivery – The South African way” article.

Are there any delivery costs?

Yes, delivery costs will be determined based on the distance from the selected local butcher. Refer to each butcher’s page, under the delivery section for more information. View Boskruin Butchery and Deli or Mondanette Butchery.

Which areas do we deliver to?

Can the meat be frozen?

Yes. If you are going to be freezing the meat, we recommend doing that on the same day of delivery or local pickup then.

Where can I find the ingredients and allergies?

Where applicable, ingredients and allergens can be found under the description of the products.

Can it be delivered elsewhere other than my home?

It can, however, please ensure that there is someone available for collection whom you can trust your goods with. For example, at work, is there a receiving/reception area where we can drop off the package should you not be available during the time of drop off?

Does the meat need to be directly unpacked and refrigerated once received?

Yes, we recommend putting it in a refrigerator as soon as possible after receiving the order (Avoid leaving it in direct sunlight or storing it in a car during the heat of the day).

How do I know when my order will be delivered?

We strive to keep you informed of every step of the process. You will find more information under the delivery section of your butcher’s page. We will send you an email and sms when the order can be expected via delivery or for pickup. View Boskruin Butchery and Deli or Mondanette Butchery.

Which speciality items don’t you sell?

We do not sell Offal, Makanyanisi, Meat Bones or Carcasses.

Is there halaal options?

We currently do not have halaal options.

How do I register?

Visit the My Account page and enter your details in the register section.

How do I see my previous or current orders?

If you haven’t registered with us, you can do so on the My Account page. Once registered, login and click on orders.

How do I reset my password?

Visit the My Account page and click on reset password.

Can I delete my account?

Yes. Please send an email to [email protected] and we will assist.

Can I cancel my order?

Sure thing, cancellations are available up to 12 hours prior to the goods being shipped for delivery or pickup. Please send an email to [email protected] to discuss.
Should the cancellation request be during the 12 hour period, prior to the goods being shipped for delivery or ready for pickup, you will be liable for 30% of the total amount. Cancellations are not available once the package has been received by you. Refer to our Returns and Refund Policy for more information.

How to buy meat online?

  3. Add your products needed

  4. Select checkout and fill in the information required

  5. Select your payment option to complete the purchase

    Mastercard, Masterpass, VISA, Zapper, Snapscan or do an Instant EFT

  6. Once the payment is confirmed we will start getting your order ready

    You will receive a confirmation email of your order and once your order is ready for local pickup or delivery, you will be updated on when to expect either of these
